What is a shoe eyelet and why do I need to count these?

A shoe eyelet is also known as a shoelace hole. You can use eyelets as a way to determine your lace length by counting the holes on one side of your shoe. You will then be able to use our lace length chart to determine the best shoelace size.

What are shoe aglets? Are shoelace tips needed?

Shoe aglets are placed at the end of your shoelaces. On standard laces, these aglets are plastic to help you thread through shoelace holes. However, there are different types of shoelace tips such as metal aglets that can be added onto your shoelaces for durability or for cosmetic purposes.
